[Smells Like News] Katy Perry Wraps New Video For Complete Confection Track

Pop singer hints that the new clip will play a part in her upcoming 3-D flick, 'Katy Perry: Part of Me.'

Katy Perry has some news for her Katy Cats. She just wrapped up production on a brand-spankin'-new music video. The singer tweeted about the shoot, teasing that the video will play some part in her forthcoming 3-D big-screen spectacle "Katy Perry: Part of Me," out in July.

"3rd long ass day of shooting ... the new music video!!!!! #workinggirl," she tweeted late Wednesday. "About to shoot one of the last scenes for the music video ... I have to pick a costume from the Cali Dreams Tour, which would u pick? #KP3D."

While she didn't specify for which track she was shooting the video, when she sat down with MTV News in March, she noted that she did have a video concept in mind for her Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection track "Wide Awake."

"I know exactly what that music video is. I know exactly who is directing it. I know the art direction, the people, the narrative," she explained. "And I had that idea while I was writing the song."

In the same interview, Perry talked about the dreamy breakup track. "Well, there were two songs that I had from Teenage Dream that I couldn't put on, it was 'Part of Me' and 'Dressing Up.' And then I knew we were doing the re-release and so I was like, 'I got to get in the studio,' because I can't wait eight months to be able to put out this feeling that I'm feeling right now," she said. " 'Cause God knows, it would take eight months to do another record. I couldn't do it on the fly, to set up records it takes time.

"So I was like, 'I'm getting into studio.' I had two days to write and I wrote it with my regular crew," she said of working with Dr. Luke, Max Martin and Bonnie McKee for the song. "Then I had two days to record. It was literally ... I submitted the lyrics before I submitted the music because it was by the hair of my chinny chin chin that I put that song on the record. But I have a film that's coming out in the summer that's like a concert documentary. Not only did I write the song because I needed to flush that out of my system, but I wrote it for the film as well."

cabelos de uma mulher, dentro da Câmara, a renuncia não basta. A desmoralização é

tamanha que seus colegas deveriam ter vergonha e em repeito ao cidadão belorizontino,

transparência imediata e absoluta com o erário.

4 Vereadores que compram votos, distribuem sopa, eletrodomésticos, dão festas,

churrascos e forró, em suma, compram votos, não merecem aumento de salário, mas

sim, profunda investigação do Ministério Público e controle permanente da população.

5 Vereadores que agem como se os gabinetes da Câmara fossem suas casas e escritórios

particulares, onde administram ONGs que desviam dinheiro público; andam de cueca;

loteam cargos com parentes; mantem mordomias que afrontam a dignidade do cidadão

belorizontino; não merecem aumento, muito menos re-eleição, mas sim, um sonoro

NÃO nas próximas eleições, e principalmemte prestar conta de seus atos à população de

BH.

O movimento www.Bhadores.net está de parabéns por promover a vigilância no

legislativo municipal. Esse ano teremos eleições municipais, e um claro recado está

sendo dado aos políticos: Acabou a farra, uma nova geração de eleitores está de olho,

atenta aos desmandos na Câmara. A internet é uma podersosa ferramenta de controle.

Não há verba para comprar espaço nobre em TV, como fazem esses que se dizem

representantes do povo, mas há o Youtube, há o Twitter, Facebook, etc. Ou se instala

a transparência, a decência, a moralidade com o dinheiro público, ou muitos dos

vereadores que já andam constragidos pelas ruas terão vergonha até de se olhar no

espelho.

[Smells Like News] Newt Gingrich Drops Out of Presidential Race

Republican Newt Gingrich dropped out of the presidential race Wednesday, ending what was a turbulent, roller coaster bid for the White House.

With millions of dollars in campaign debt and just two GOP primary victories under his belt, the former House Speaker finally bowed out.

"Today I am suspending the campaign, but suspending the campaign does not mean suspending citizenship," Gingrich said in lengthy remarks.

Gingrich deemed the campaign "a truly wild ride" in Arlington, Va., saying, "I could never have predicted either the low points or the high points."

Quoting an observer who suggested his best days may be ahead, Newt vowed to focus on balancing the U.S. budget, advocating for "religious liberty" and social security savings accounts and working for American energy independence.

He said he would work to "reemphasize the work ethic" in America, advocate for national security positions and press for increased brain research.

Gingrich also stood behind his campaign push for a moon colony, though he admitted that it was "probably not my most clever comment in this campaign." He said Americans should seek to "go out and pursue great adventure."

Gingrich, who said during the campaign that presumptive nominee Mitt Romney was not a true conservative, said Wednesday that Romney should be certainly considered conservative in comparison to President Obama.

"This is not a choice between Mitt Romney and Ronald Reagan, it is between Mitt Romney and the most radical leftist president in American history," he said.

Gingrich did not endorse Romney Wednesday, but his spokesman, R.C. Hammond, said he planned to do so at a joint appearance with him in the future.

In a statement, Romney, who has now dispatched all rivals but Ron Paul through attrition, praised Newt in a statement, saying that Gingrich "has brought creativity and intellectual vitality to American political life."

"During the course of this campaign, Newt demonstrated both eloquence and fearlessness in advancing conservative ideas," he said.

"Although he long ago created an enduring place for himself in American history, I am confident that he will continue to make important contributions to our party and to the life of the nation. Ann and I are proud to call Newt and Callista friends and we look forward to working with them in the months and years ahead as we fight to restore America's promise."
